I am very bad in roasting potatoes. I am lost when comes to so many different types of potatoes. We grew up eating a lot of rice. The only potatoes that we know of are sweet potatoes. I only use potatoes when I cook curry. I just use any type. Thanks for sharing how to roast potatoes.
Found you through twitter, and am so glad I did.
You’ve just gone on my blogroll to give hope to us expats who have to struggle with strange supermarkets, odd substitutions and a family who mutter about non-local food suspiciously LOL
This is great! Roast potatoes can so easily become burnt or soggy. Thank you!
Hey KC
What a great video and a fantastic and easy healthy alternative to fries and other foods doused in fats and oils.
Keep up the good work.
Mary, I’m sure with your skill you could easily cook roast potatoes. All you need to know are that there are waxy and floury. Floury are the best for baking, waxy are great for salads.
Hi Sarah, glad you found me and hope I can help the expats!
Too true Mathea, that’s why I wanted to share how I do them. Over time this method has never let me down (and I’ve tried a few).
Thanks for the comments Russel
Roasting potatoes is definitely an easy, healthy alternative.
